Combining Innovation, Comfort, and Performance
The HondaJet Elite and Elite S are the leaders of the pack in the small 4-5-seat pressurized light business jet market.
These single-pilot planes fly faster and farther than their two closest competitors. The Honda Aircraft Company has produced as many as 40 aircraft annually in the most recent years and more than 200 are operational worldwide.
With its roomy cabin, food service, and lavatory, the HondaJet is suitable for trips of 1,500 miles. It’s practical and comfortable for trips such as Miami to Boston, Los Angeles to Dallas, or comparable and shorter flights.
Although certified for six passengers, it is most commonly configured for five seats or four with a business class seating arrangement. The 66 cubic feet of baggage space provides room for bags and even golf clubs.
Sleek design gives the HondaJet a compact appearance, although it has an overall length comparable to the Cessna Citation Mustang, with more headroom in the cabin.
HondaJet Interior
The roomy cabin is 17 feet 10 inches long, 4 ft. 8 in. high, and 5 ft. wide, and boasts noteworthy passenger amenities such as a coffee maker and a microwave oven. The Elite S has a quieter cabin, and a belted lavatory seat is included.
The HondaJet Elite is also equipped with a unique sound system. The interior walls have speakers, creating a true surround-sound experience.
Finally, increased cabin comfort and reduced sound levels and vibration are achieved by mounting the engines on pylons above the wings. This increases room in the cabin, eliminating space needed for hardware to attach aft-mounted engines.
