Introduced in 2012 the Gulfstream G650 is an ultra-long-range business jet designed to provide an exceptional combination of comfort, speed, and range.
The cabin can be designed for a maximum seating capacity of 19 or opulent luxury for 10 or 11 passengers in a cabin that extends more than 46 feet.
The 650 and longer-ranging Gulfstream G650ER private jets have demonstrated their long legs on flights such as from Singapore to Las Vegas (8010 nautical miles) and Hong Kong to Teterboro, New Jersey (8,624 nautical miles), cruising at speeds of Mach 0.85.
Passenger comfort begins in a cabin with an oval cross-section that is 8.5 ft. wide and a stand-up height of 6.5 ft.
Two Rolls-Royce Deutschland BR725A1-12 turbofan engines push the aircraft along at cruising speeds of Mach .85 – .90 (561 mph) to Mach .90 (594 mph).
Gulfstream G650 Interior
In a cabin that is 46 feet long, the variety of layouts and options is almost limitless. One popular seating arrangement consists of six pairs of facing seats with an ample tabletop space between each group of four seats. Limited only by the interior designer’s imagination, almost any combination of seating, passenger amenities, and workspace is possible.
Passengers never have to rely on a cooler of cold drinks and cold sandwiches for inflight meals. Food service is important on long trips, and galleys usually include far more than coffee and beverage service, with a refrigerator, microwaves, cabinets for cups and dishes, and countertops with sinks.
