Linear Connect

Linear Connect offers current and prospective Eclipse owners the opportunity to earn revenue from their aircraft through shared operation with Linear Air.

Unlike aircraft management programs that owners might consider as an alternative, Linear Connect is designed with the owner in mind.

Linear Connect partners are not charged fixed aircraft management fees. Instead, Linear Air handles all aspects of charter management for Linear Connect owners, and charges a simple percentage fee based on charter revenue generated. This way, Linear Air is motivated to generate charter revenue and owners are not at risk.

Linear Connect aircraft are promoted via Linear Air's market-leading web quoting system, QuickQuote (see sidebar left) and partners receive the highest quality maintenance and training support available anywhere, on a par with Eclipse Aerospace itself.

Linear Connect also offers protection from the pitfalls of unlawful charter, a serious risk that can lead to fines, lost pilot certificates and even prison (see Flying Magazine: Pilot Gets Prison Time in High-Profile Case). In particular, Linear Connect is an effective alternative to so-called dry leasing arrangements, which are often deemed by the FAA to be commercial operations requiring a FAR Part 135 charter certificate, and result in enforcement actions against the pilots and owners.
